I am currently developing a series of pieces based on the observation of natural and urban structures, titled A Shape of Logic. In this work, I explore the gap between chance and structure: how to create a plastic logic from random shapes encountered in the environment.
This project extends my research on the mechanisms by which we build our realities through shapes, materials, and rhythms. I use the city of Umeå as a generator of material and situations. Most of the materials used are found, donated, or discarded. These fragments carry the traces of human interactions with their surroundings.
